I'm a twenty-something, somewhat newlywed, first-time homeowner. My husband and I live in our hometown in the Midwest. (How did that happen?) I work hard, but try to play harder.

Funny that this would make the police scanner. A herd of sheep stops traffic in my town twice a day, every day. The police here don't seem to care much, though...which is surprizing, since that's probably the only excitement they have each day.
Sheep. They sure do taste good, them sheep.
Never eaten a policeman, however. The Cook, The Thief, His Wife, and Her Policeman? Nah...I could never convince Helen Mirren to star in that one.
Helen Mirren. A much better actress than that chick who played Daisy Duke. What was her name again? Lisa Simpson?
Anyway, thanks for leaving a comment on my blog. The VTB readership (all three of them) were starting to worry about your lengthy absence. Now we know. You were hanging out with the governor.
